Paul will now use a smart tool in dealing with people. Encouragement before correction. He will lay out all the privileges of being a Jewish person AND THEN he will will bring out the deeper truth. Being Jewish doesn't save you. Circumcision doesn't save you. And he will finalize it by saying that a real Jew is one of the heart, not of the flesh.
