This episode is a continuation of our conversation about avoiding the deep and often painful work that is necessary for true transformation and spiritual evolvement. Too often—and this is a very human tendency—we avoid taking a deep look at ourselves by using spirituality, or other distractions, to protect ourselves from pain.

We share true stories about ourselves and explore the use of statements in which individuals manipulate or deflect responsibility by suggesting that others are projecting their own issues or beliefs onto them. "You create your own reality (this is your fault) or "I'm just a mirror for you," This is a form of bypassing that gives a person a false sense of superiority and a way to feel good about themselves while avoiding personal accountability.

We’ll close the episode with a gentle somatic exercise to help you reconnect with your body and bring this conversation out of your head and into lived experience.
