• Ep.186: I Forgot Who I Was... Until I Asked One Question
    Jul 15 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

When was the last time you asked yourself, "What do I want?"

For years, my identity revolved around caring for everyone else—my family, my business, my loved ones. Somewhere along the way, I stopped paying attention to the things that made me feel alive.

In this episode, I'm sharing the moment I realized I had lost touch with myself, why that happens to so many of us, and how we can begin reconnecting with who we are without waiting for life to finally slow down.

    We'll talk about:
✨ Why we lose our identity
✨ The surprising clues that point us back to ourselves
✨ How caregiving, parenting, retirement, and major life changes shape who we become
✨ Why joy doesn't have to be productive
✨ One small challenge to help you reconnect with yourself this week

If you've ever wondered who you are outside of your responsibilities, I hope this conversation reminds you that it's never too late to come back to yourself.

❤️ If this episode resonates with you, I'd love to hear what makes you come alive. Leave a comment below, subscribe, and join me each week on the Maybe I Can Podcast.

  • Ep. 185: Grief Doesn't Always Begin With Goodbye
    Jul 8 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever found yourself grieving something even though no one died?

In this episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm talking about the many forms of grief we often overlook. Grief isn't only about death. We can grieve lost dreams, changing relationships, infertility, divorce, retirement, friendship endings, caregiving, health challenges, job loss, and the future we thought we'd have.

I share some of the most personal moments of my own life—from my son's autism diagnosis, to caring for my husband through mental illness and terminal cancer, to losing a lifelong friendship, and navigating uncertainty in my career. Each experience taught me that grief often begins long before goodbye.

We'll also talk about anticipatory grief, grieving people who are still alive but have changed, and why grief isn't something we "get over"—it's something we learn to carry.

If you've been feeling sadness over a loss that others don't seem to understand, I hope this episode reminds you that your grief is real, and it deserves to be acknowledged.

💜 In this episode, we'll explore:

    • The many forms of grief beyond death
    • Anticipatory grief and grieving changing relationships
    • Why grief has no timeline
    • How to honor your loss without staying stuck
    • Questions to help you reflect and begin healing

If this episode resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and let me know: What loss are you still carrying?

  • Ep. 184: Rest Isn't Something You Earn
    Jul 1 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself if you're really overwhelmed... or simply exhausted?

In this week's episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm talking about something I think so many of us have accepted as "normal"—living in a constant state of exhaustion.

For years, I told myself I was just busy. As a caregiver, business owner, wife, and mom, I kept pushing through until one Mother's Day, everything I'd been carrying came pouring out. Looking back, I realized it wasn't the holiday that broke me—it was years of emotional, mental, and physical depletion.

In this episode, I share that story, the hidden stages of exhaustion, and why so many of us feel guilty about something as simple as resting.

    We'll talk about:

✨ The four stages of hidden exhaustion

✨ Emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual fatigue

✨ Why we struggle to give ourselves permission to rest

✨ How to tell the difference between resistance and true exhaustion

✨ Small ways to restore your energy before you hit a breaking point

If you've been telling yourself, "I'll rest later," this episode is for you.

Maybe the most productive thing you can do today... is rest.

  • Ep. 183: A Sprinkle of Forgiveness
    Jun 24 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

What if forgiveness isn't about the other person at all?

In this episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm talking about one of the hardest sprinkles of all: forgiveness.

For years, I carried resentment, guilt, unrealistic expectations, and disappointment without realizing how much emotional energy they were stealing from me. Whether it's forgiving ourselves, another person, a life circumstance, or simply the way things turned out, forgiveness is often the key to finding peace.

In this episode, I share personal stories about caregiving, family relationships, career challenges, and the lessons I'm still learning in real time about letting go of resentment and choosing emotional freedom.

If you've been replaying the past, carrying guilt, or wishing life had unfolded differently, this conversation is for you.

  • Ep. 182: A Sprinkle Of Surrender
    Jun 17 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

What if surrender isn't about giving up... but finally finding peace?

In this episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm sharing one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn: letting go of the things I was never meant to control.

As a lifelong caregiver, mother, wife, and helper, I spent years believing that if I tried hard enough, worried enough, or loved enough, I could change outcomes for the people I cared about. But life kept teaching me a different lesson.

I'm sharing personal stories from my caregiving journey with my late husband and my son, as well as a surprising lesson I learned through my own weight loss journey. Through all of these experiences, I discovered that surrender isn't weakness—it's freedom.

    In this episode, I discuss:

✨ Why surrender feels so uncomfortable

✨ The difference between supporting and controlling

✨ How trying to control everything leads to exhaustion

✨ What surrender actually looks like in everyday life

✨ Why steady progress matters more than perfect outcomes

✨ Questions you can ask yourself to find more peace

If you've been carrying responsibilities that don't belong to you, struggling with uncertainty, or feeling exhausted from trying to fix everything, this episode is for you.

Remember: surrender is not letting go of love. It's letting go of the illusion of control.

  • Ep. 181: Choosing Peace Over People Pleasing
    Jun 10 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever agreed to something and immediately regretted it?

In this episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm talking about something I've struggled with my entire life: boundaries.

For years, I believed that saying yes made me a better daughter, friend, volunteer, caregiver, and employee. But eventually I realized that every yes comes with a hidden cost. When we constantly put everyone else's needs first, we often sacrifice our own peace, health, joy, and wellbeing.

I'm sharing personal stories from my caregiving journey, the surprising reasons we struggle to say no, and practical tools that have helped me set healthier boundaries without feeling selfish.

    We'll explore:

✨ Why saying no feels so uncomfortable

✨ The hidden cost of people-pleasing

✨ The difference between capability and capacity

✨ Signs you may need stronger boundaries

✨ Simple phrases to help you stop automatic yeses

✨ How boundaries protect your energy and peace

If you've ever felt stretched too thin, overwhelmed, resentful, or exhausted from being everyone's go-to person, this episode is for you.

Remember: Boundaries aren't about caring less. They're about caring for yourself, too.

    Jun 3 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Have you ever told yourself, "I'll take care of myself later"?

For years, that's exactly what I did.

As a family caregiver, wife, mother, business owner, and the person everyone counted on, self-care always seemed like something I would get to eventually. The problem was that "eventually" never came.

In this episode of the Maybe I Can Podcast, I'm sharing why self-care became one of the most important sprinkles in my life and how learning to prioritize myself changed everything.

We'll talk about the stories we tell ourselves about time, why so many caregivers struggle with guilt, the difference between true self-care and simply numbing out, and how small moments of care can create big shifts in your life.

Using the Sprinkle Effect Method—See It, Sprinkle It, Shift It—I'll show you how to recognize when you're running on empty and begin making small changes that help you reconnect with yourself.

Whether you're caring for a loved one, raising children, supporting aging parents, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life's responsibilities, this episode is for you.

Remember: self-care isn't about escaping your life. It's about staying connected to yourself while you live it.

This week on Maybe I Can, I’m talking about something so many of us struggle with: asking for help.
