Mid-Week Motivation #3 - END OF THE TAPE

Sometimes we forget to play the tape all the way to the end at our worst moments. When we are having the worst possible day and we've forgotten how far we've come and also what we have to lose. Though I didn't actually take that drink that day. The emotions and thoughts I experienced were very real. I knew the instant I had the opportunity to do so I would take full advantage of the situation I had put myself in and drink myself into a pitiful state of despair. This is a deadly example of how the thoughts invade and the fall from grace begins. It's also an example of unimaginable power from within. I don't take that from myself and there is nothing to be "humble" about when these moments occur. When you defeat the worst and most intrusive and foolish parts of yourself in this internal battle it is PARAMOUNT to recognize these moments and be PROUD and aware of your achievement.
