Lighthouse is a 'story in words and music' that follows a couple of boys who set out on an aquatic adventure. Inspired by an encounter with an enigmatic old fisherman, they eagerly take to the sea on their own, only to realise their enthusiasm may not quite be matched by their knowledge and experience.


A story of the importance of knowing one's harbour when setting out on a journey of novel discovery, Lighthouse looks at the way a childhood episode of excitement and peril can inform our later understanding of that which matters most.

Lovely idea to incorporate music to help carry the story and give time to reflect between each part. There’s also the wonderful Magical Music Box which is a series of stories including classical composers’ music between scenes. Hopefully Audible will be able to add it soon.
