• Let's Just Go to Dublin
    Jun 29 2026

Let's Just Go To Dublin On the first stop in a 3-week tour of Europe, Kayla spends two nights in Dublin, Ireland. This itinerary will take her from Philadelphia on a direct flight to Dublin, then she flies down to Venice, Italy for a couple more nights before taking a train to Verona, then a car into Lake Garda, another train into Rome, then boards a 9-night cruise taking her to Mykonos, Chania Crete, and Corfu in Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Valletta, Malta.

This quick, 2-night stay in Dublin was fun, and Kayla is very likely to return. Popular destinations like The Temple Bar, and The Book Of Kells were skipped on this trip, but taking time with the Guinness Experimental Brewery, finding Roe & Co, and going to The Church were worthy trade offs that we strongly encourage visitors to check out for themselves.

  • Let's Just Go to Hotel Landy
    Jun 22 2026

For my last trip to Epic Universe, we wanted to check out a newly rebranded and remodeled hotel near the parks. That brought us to Hotel Landy. I wanted to check this place out because some of the reviews online were great, but it was undergoing changes. I wanted to see it for myself and make my own conclusions.

I am so glad that I did. I thought this hotel was great, I would definitely stay there again, and between the staff, the rooms, and its location near I-Drive, I would definitely consider this a great pick for other travelers as well.

One thing that is good to note is if you are traveling with little ones or mid to large groups and you would like to walk around I-Drive, it is walkable, but the roads are wide, with many lanes, and the sidewalks are small. I would consider rideshares to get safely to and from ICON Park or the surrounding areas.

pen, now, for about a year, and I thougth it would be fun to take another look, taking my boyfriend along.

The rides are just as fun as I remember them, and the food was still excellent. A new location since my last visit was the Blue Dragon, with Asian-inspired cuisine and sake- or japanese whisky-infused cocktails and flights, which was also excellent.

We did have a long wait for Donkey Kong Minecart Madness, but even dispite an extended wait we were able to fit in everything that we wanted to experience in just one day. The ride does offer a unique experience, however that does come at the cost of increased downtimes. Is it worth it? Brian certainly thinks so, but your party may be better off being a little more stratigic in choosing their experiences if you encounter longer than normal wait times.

  • Let's Just Go to Disneyland in Spring
    Jun 1 2026

Traveling to Disneyland can be overwhelming. Large crowds, long wait times, and a pressure to get the most for your money. It's natural to want to try to make the most of it by running straight from attraction to attraction.

In this episode, I recount my most recent trip to Disneyland in California, where I took it slow and easy. Sometimes slowing down, relaxing, and giving yourself time to take it in really is the best way to experience the parks. I didn't hit every attraction; I didn't even hit all of my favorites, but I did have the best time in a long time because I allowed myself a chance to breath.

  • Let's Just Go to the Anaheim Marriott
    May 25 2026

Not everyone that travels is traveling with children, and some travelers with littler ones in tow may not want noise and the hustle bustle of a more family resort, and if that describes you, you may want to join me in exploring the Anaheim Marriott Hotel.

This hotel near the Anaheim Convention Center is a little bit of a walk to the Disney parks, but it offers a moderately upscale venue with professional sensibilities.

Along with premium hotel amenities, a great pool, and a lounge with weekend buffet vouchers. And it is still a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel, meaning you can bundle stays here with your park tickets.

If you would like to book a trip to Anaheim, I would love to help. Find me at kttcbykayla.com.

  • Let's Just Go to the Sheraton Park Anaheim
    May 18 2026

Tune into this episode to hear about my experience staynig at the Sheraton Park Hotel Anaheim. This was a great stay, not far from Disneyland, with the benefit of being partnered with Disney as one of their select Good Neighbor Hotels; what that means is that they meet a minimum spec of Disney requirements, and for me that means that I can package Disney Parks tickets with my stay.

  • Let's Just Go to Seattle
    May 11 2026

It's always fun going back to my hometown. If you were not aware, I am from the Seattle area, and I enjoy going back there regularly as a tourist and vacationer. It't really fun to see your hometown from the eyes of someone that does not live there, and have a reason to do all the touristy things that locals look down on.

Don't ride the "ducks," but do follow my lead in exploring what the Pacific Northwest has to offer on one of the nicest days that I've been in recent memory. Take a trip with me and experience their seafood down at the Seattle waterfront. Explore Woodinville and taste Washington wines. Sample beers at one of the many (many) breweries in the regions and experience how the locals brew their famous Cascadian hops, or go for my favorite, a cider made from famous Washington apples.

You're missing out if you skip a visit to Seattle. Do yourself a favor and reach out to book a trip for yourself by visiting me at https://kttcbykayla.com.
