One Project. One Summer. One Book.

After months of trying to balance multiple projects, certifications, ideas, and opportunities, I finally made a decision:

This summer belongs to the book.

In this personal episode, I'm sharing why I chose to put several exciting projects on hold and dedicate my energy to completing and publishing the book that has been calling me forward for years.

As a business owner, mother, creator, and now 40-year-old woman, I've learned that sometimes growth isn't about doing more; it's about choosing what matters most and giving it your full devotion.

This book has become that project for me.

I believe it has the potential to help thousands of people over the next decade who are navigating purpose, awakening, entrepreneurship, and creating a life aligned with who they truly are. Because of that, I've decided to give it my full attention through the summer and into the fall.

    In this episode, I share:

    • Why I decided to focus on one major project instead of many
    • The lessons I've learned about capacity, priorities, and creative energy
    • How I previously got paid to write my book while creating it live
    • The story behind Launch Your Light and the community that helped bring it to life
    • Why inviting people into the creation process can be so powerful
    • What it means to choose devotion over distraction
    • My plans for publishing the book this fall
    • How I'm balancing ambition, motherhood, summer fun, and creative work

I also officially announce Summer School: The Season to Get Shit Done- a summer-long accountability and co-working experience designed for women who have projects, ideas, dreams, businesses, books, podcasts, YouTube channels, and to-do lists they've been meaning to complete.

    Together we'll gather weekly to:
    ✨ Set intentions and priorities
    ✨ Celebrate progress and breakthroughs
✨ Move through blocks and distractions
✨ Co-work and create alongside one another
✨ Get support, accountability, and momentum

Because sometimes the fastest way to finish something is to stop trying to do it alone.

Whether you're writing a book, launching a business, organizing your life, starting a podcast, or simply trying to complete the things you've been putting off for months, this episode is an invitation to choose focus, trust your calling, and finally make progress on what matters most.

  • Ep 95. The Messy Middle of Book Writing & Becoming an Author w/ Jessi Dunnagan
    Jun 8 2026

In this episode, Jayme sits down with editor, publishing mentor, and founder of Big Time Publishing, Jessi Dunnagan, for an honest and behind-the-scenes conversation about the realities of writing, editing, publishing, and becoming an author in today’s digital age.

Together, they unpack the emotional, strategic, and creative process of bringing a book to life: from navigating the “messy middle” of writing to restructuring manuscripts, refining storytelling, and building an authentic author brand online.

Jessi shares insights from working with authors at every stage of the journey and explains why getting support early in the process can dramatically reduce overwhelm and accelerate momentum. Jayme also opens up about her own evolving identity as she steps more fully into authorship, including restructuring her manuscript, refining her audience, and embracing visibility in a whole new way.

✨ In this episode, we cover:

    • The emotional reality of writing a book and moving through the “messy middle”
    • Why hiring an editor early can transform the writing process
    • Structuring nonfiction books for clarity, engagement, and flow
    • Why first drafts are not supposed to be perfect
    • How storytelling strengthens business and prescriptive books
    • Writing as a healing process- not something you wait to do until after healing
    • The evolution of publishing and how TikTok / BookTok is changing book marketing
    • Building an author brand on social media
    • Rebranding your identity as an entrepreneur, becoming an author
    • The importance of personal branding and storytelling in modern publishing
    • The value of coaching, developmental editing, illustrators, and publishing support

Together, Jayme and Jessi explore the intersection of creativity, healing, entrepreneurship, and publishing, and why writing a book is often less about perfection and more about devotion, structure, and allowing the process to unfold.

  • Ep 94. How to Unstuck Yourself: The Real Reasons Your Ideas Aren’t Working (And What to Actually Do About It)
    Apr 27 2026

If you’ve ever felt like you have so many ideas… but nothing is fully landing, building, or taking off, this episode is going to hit.

In this masterclass-style training, Jayme breaks down what’s actually happening between the moment you receive an idea… and the moment it either becomes real, or gets abandoned.

    Because the truth is:

It’s not that you need better ideas.
It’s that you’ve never been shown how to work with them.

Inside this episode, Jayme introduces her Idea Distortion Principle, a powerful framework explaining how ideas naturally shift and become distorted as they move from soul → human → reality. And if you don’t understand where that distortion is happening, you’ll keep leaving your ideas too early.

This is not another strategy session.

This is a diagnostic conversation that will help you finally see why nothing has been clicking and what to do about it.

🧠 What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

    • Why having too many ideas can actually keep you stuck
    • The real reason you start things… but don’t finish them
    • What happens in the exact moment you lose momentum
    • The Idea Distortion Principle and how it impacts execution
    • The 9 hidden blocks that stop ideas from becoming reality
    • Why this is not a strategy problem (and what it actually is)
    • How to stop circling ideas and finally move one forward

    🧬 Core Takeaway

    Your ideas aren’t failing.

    They’re getting distorted.

And once you understand where that’s happening… everything changes.

🔥 Ready for the Next Step?

If this episode resonated with you, this is exactly the work inside The Idea Incubator-Jayme’s 9-week experience designed to help you take one idea from stuck → alive → in motion.

Inside, you’ll learn how to not only build your idea… but become the person who can actually hold it.
