People often say "love me for who I am!" Is that really what people want though? It seems to me that people crave something more deep and beautiful than that. As Christians, we can help others contemplate how beautiful God's love really is.
And if you're tempted to take this episode the wrong way, keep Romans 6:1-2 in mind: "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?" (ESV)
