The exchanges felt somewhat vacant, and I thought the characters could use more substance. And that odd kiss scene between Aemond and Alicent? Let's not even go there—LOL. The pacing was fairly good, but a few scenes felt a tad rushed. Other than that, I have no significant issues, and I'm satisfied with how this first episode came together.
