  • Ep. 340: Covers From Beyond!!! - Summer Jamz
    Jun 26 2026

This week is all about bands playing other bands' songs. Summer songs that perhaps radio has exhausted. Whether they are playing it straight note-for-note or whether they are re-interpreting it, bands love to pay tribute to the hits they love! In this episode, we showcase a summer playlist made for all of your grilling, pool party, block party, yard work, camping, and hot weather needs!

What’s this InObscuria thing? We’re a podcast that exhumes obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal and puts them in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. If you’re in need of a Summer Jamz playlist with a slight twist… we got ya covered!

  • Ep. 339: Unsigned Unearthed III
    Jun 19 2026

This week InObscuria exhumes those unmarked graves of unsigned artists! These bands may not have been signed to a major or gained internationally distributed success, but they were all rock stars to those lucky enough to hear and see them! Anyone who’s ever been in a band and played local/regional shows knows that some of the best live acts and musicians (and friends) are met through sharing bills with other acts. We hope we turn you on to some great music that you may have otherwise never had a chance to hear!

New to InObscuria? Every week your two hosts crawl down to the crypts to exhume obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. These are artists that are all amazing, but lost to most of the world. If you were there, you know! If you dig it… go dig it up and buy it! Support these artists and keep your devil horns high in the air!

  • Ep. 338: Pulling The Plug... Acoustic Rock n’ Punk n’ Metal 5
    Jun 12 2026

This week, half of us are at the beach enjoying some r n’ r, so we thought we’d listen to some r n’ r with a beachy vibe. We are pulling the plug… and gasping for air… guitars! Rock artists have been playing acoustic since the very beginning. In fact, most songwriters start the process with an acoustic instrument. There’s something about capturing the sound of a song on just wire and wood that has a vulnerable, human feel to it. Dig your toes into the sand, breathe in the salt air, and enjoy these tunes with a frosty beverage.

What’s this InObscuria thing? We’re a podcast that exhumes obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal and puts them in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. Mtv started a series in 1989 called “Unplugged”, and almost every mainstream relevant act started producing acoustic albums or versions of their songs. This week we listen to some artist that you may have never considered as having acoustic interpretations of their songs.

    Songs this week include:

    1. Moon Tooth – “Trust” from Violent Grief: Acoustic Selections (2020)
    2. Hawkwind – “PSI Power” from Acoustic Daze (2019)
    3. Tora Tora – “Son Of A Prodigal Son” from Unplugged EP (2020)
    4. Michael Kiske – “You Always Walk Alone” from Past In Different Ways (2008)
    5. MIRADOR – “Fortune’s Fate (Reborn At Badon Hill)” from The Gathering At Badon Hill (2026)
    6. Junkyard – “Til The Wheels Fall Off (Acoustic Version)” from Rome Is Burning (2020)
    7. Bloody Hammers – “Graveyard Waits” from The Acoustic Halloween Special (2025)
    8. Testament – “The Legacy (Live)” from Live At The Fillmore (1995)
    9. Mercy Beat – “Another Day” from Walk With Me (1999)
