I loved Patric's book, but it was also inspiring to hear her in conversation. To me, it sounded like what can happen if a person experiences self acceptance, that by embracing herself she is able to be her 'best' self. She is clear about the nuanced difference; she is not her behaviour nor her thinking, she is and can be separate.

Wherever you are on this spectrum (sociopathy) or other spectrum of difference, what seems to emerging is that we all have a place - and deserve understanding and compassion.
