With over 8 years of experience as a DEI manager at the top US medical school, the University of California San Francisco, Benton seamlessly integrates themes of diversity, equity, inclusion, and personal narratives to pioneer transformative policies and strategies.

Benton holds a BA in Communications, an MA in Clinical Psychology, and an MFA in Creative Writing, Benton's expertise is grounded in communication and psychology. A proud Los Angeles native, Benton's achievements span various domains: they authored "SIR: poetry dedicated to boihood and black queer love," created The BOI Documentary, and founded Speaking 4 Profit University. Here, they mentor diverse speakers and consultants in scaling to six-figure enterprises.

Benton's "Speaking 4 Profit" podcast delves into the intersections of money, business, and wellness. About Ann-Marie Zanzal:

Anne-Marie Zanzal, M.Div is a graduate of Yale Divinity School and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a clinically trained chaplain, and a grief counselor. You can find her work at annemariezanzal.com.

She came out in 2016 after a twenty-seven-year marriage to a man and four kids. It was the hardest and best thing she has ever done. After navigating all the changes in her life, in 2018 she saw an opportunity to support an unfulfilled need in the LGBTQIA+ community to support others, like her, who are in the midst of coming out often after marriage and children. Her Lotus Coaching Group supports the later-in-life community. She expanded her business in 2022 to help other LGBTQIA+ coaches and therapists to build online supportive services and programs for the communities they love.

Her brand includes two podcasts Coming Out and Beyond https://annemariezanzal.com/coming-out-stories-beyond-podcast/ tells coming out stories and the "beyond" of Queer folk. Her second podcast drops in July 2023 and is called Queer Business Success and it focuses on LGBTQIA+ coaches, therapists and caregivers (+allies) who serve our community.

Her memoir Authentic Peace speaks to anyone who is in a transitional life stage, whether leaving a marriage or a relationship, or those who are called to reinvent themselves. Anne-Marie’s story lends hope, guidance, and insight to those embarking on the journey to find your true, authentic self and for those seeking the courage to leave the known and familiar, in order to move toward the uncharted.
