Acts 17:2–3 (ESV) “And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, ‘This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.’” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall highlights the importance of using Scripture when sharing the gospel. Rather than relying solely on personal experiences or testimonies, Paul carefully explained and demonstrated from the Scriptures that Jesus is the promised Messiah. His message was rooted in God's Word, and many were persuaded to believe because of the truth he presented. Pastor Sumrall explains that biblical faith is strengthened when believers understand and apply the Scriptures. The early church did not separate the gospel from the Word of God; instead, they used the Scriptures to teach, explain, and confirm the truth about Christ. ---- Don’t forget to like, subscribe to Cathedral of Praise TV https://www.youtube.com/c/cathedralofpraiseTV/?sub_confirmation=1,and hit the bell icon 🔔 to stay updated.
