About this listen
Syntax Poetry are mega happy to present the second episode of this short podcast series.
Which focuses on our year long project, The Syntax Calendar. Its not only been a project that has brought creatives together, commissioned new work, linked to new communities, but it is heavily inspired by local poet and legend John Clare and the themes that influenced his work.
In this episode, Keely Mills, Chair of Syntax talks to two poets about their own experiences and writing that are connected to the themes of ' Childhood, Home and Community'. It features two wonderful writers, Alex Tyler, and Scott Coe. Enjoy this nostalgic, inspiring conversation that focuses on these themes, John Clare and what its like today writing poetry.
