    Jun 30 2026

"Los hombres no lloran." We've all heard it. But what happens when we finally stop holding it in?

This week I sat down with Alberto future psychiatrist, founder of Hermanos Wellness Club, to talk about his journey from his first panic attack in 2017 (that he hid from everyone) to building a exercise movement that is helping Latino men show up for each other.

    We talk about:
What a panic attack actually feels like
Breaking the stigma around medication ("ya estás loco")
How his mission to build community is becoming a healing space for Latino men and

❤️ Why when men heal, the whole family heals... plus so much more!!!

  • Open and honest recovery with Deja Hartsfield, M.S
    Jun 3 2026

In this episode we meet Deja, a therapist, applied behavior analyst, and founder of Radical Sobriety, a supportive space created specifically for Black and brown people navigating recovery and sobriety.

Deja opens up about her own journey: getting sober, hitting rock bottom, and what it took to finally ask for help after years of holding it all together. She talks honestly about growing up as a sensitive Black girl in a predominantly white suburb, the role her environment played in her drinking.

Together, we explore what recovery looks like when it wasn't designed with us in mind. From the cultural normalization of alcohol in Latinx and Black communities, to the whiteness embedded in traditional AA spaces and to the exhaustion of showing up strong when you're silently falling apart.

At the heart of the conversation is something deeply personal: the inner child. Deja shares how reconnecting with little Deja and why she believes that connection is one of the most powerful tools in healing.

Whether you're sober-curious, in recovery, or just trying to feel less alone in what you're carrying...Este es para ti.
