  • Alzheimer's & Lithium Orotate Link
    Feb 16 2026

Lithium appears to contribute to cognitive preservation during aging and a new study looks at what happens to the brain when lithium is deficient, possibly leading to Alzheimer's disease. Better still, it looks like increasing the brain's lithium levels may actually reverse the effects. Lithium orotate is getting a glow-up and we're excited for it!

Also, the "magic pill" may finally be real. Wegovy, one of the popular new GLP-1 weight-loss medications is now available as a daily oral prescription! How does it differ from injections and how is dosing affected? Is it cheaper than the shots?

  • Government Food Fight
    Feb 2 2026

At the top of the year, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins released the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025–2030, the most significant reset of federal nutrition policy in decades. Emphasizing "real food," the food pyramid we grew up with has essentially been turned upside down. Dante DiMatteo (PharmD) breaks down the changes: What's good, what's bad and what families should take away from this messy government food fight.

  • The VO2 Max Trap
    Jan 19 2026

VO2 Max is having a moment. It seems every fitness influencer and longevity specialist has decided to focus on it as the key metric for determining your health. Is it important? Yes. But making that the key indicator of fitness is a trap.

Then, Dante fields a listener question: What do you do when red wine turns your face, well...bright red. How can you enjoy a glass while avoiding that awful face flush and the terrible feeling that comes along with it?
