About this listen
Sieis Soundtracks is a collection of ephemeral soundscapes inspired into existence by Nine Inch Nails' Ghosts I-IV album, and perpetuated by my desire to crucify complacency.
Season 6 was composed entirely with free tools (listed below), primarily from Ableton & Spitfire Audio. I was a ProTools fanboy for many years, but have been using Ableton Live almost exclusively since 2019.
Used on Fissure:
- Spitfire LABS: Soft Piano, Textural Pads: Hireth
- Spitfire BBC Orchestra Discover: Viola, Violin 2, Celli
- Other Effects: Valhalla Supermassive
- Artwork by yousef alfuhigi on Unsplash
Equipment (yes, affiliate links. I could make some pennies if you buy these):
- Focusrite Scarlett Solo
- MPK Mini 25 key
- Shure SRH750DJ Headphones
Sieis Soundtracks exists in parallel with other Undertow Podcast projects, and I hope you'll check some of them out too:
- the re-verse podcast
- the fna show
