On Saturday, September 27, 2025, friends of ours in the ufology/Disclosure community gathered at the home of Dr. Brannon Wheeler and his warm-hearted wife and fellow professor, Deb. Brannon is a member of the Visible College, and a professor at the US Naval Academy who teaches history of religion, and more recently, a few UFO courses! He is a highly intelligent polyglot whose primary focus has been on the Middle East, authoring 11 books so far, and whose language skills extend to some of the world’s most ancient. Anthony was introduced to Brannon by Juan Feria and “Steve,” who were featured in Part 1 of our “Old Gods” panel discussion, last year because of his interest in NHI contact experiences and how those relate to historical instances of “contact” across many of the world’s religious traditions. In fact, he sat down with Anthony for an in-depth discussion over Zoom eagerly listening to his first major experience on his contact protocol, proving his sincere passion for the topic, and quickly easing any apprehension Anthony had over meeting someone from the Naval Academy speaking to experiencers.

Brannon presented a plenary talk at Stuart Hameroff’s renowned The Science of Consciousness (TSC) conference in Barcelona this past July 2025 alongside Ross Coulthart – the first time a talk about UAP was presented in the conference’s 34-year history – where Sinéad had the pleasure of also meeting Brannon & Deb!

Although Sinéad could not attend the Sept. 27 gathering, Anthony and several friends were able to attend, including experiencers, scientists, and scholars – even a few friends who were in the US Space Economy Inter-Agency Working Group launched by Dr. Anna Brady-Estevez, formerly of the National Science Foundation!

Episode Summary

In this special solo episode, Anthony shares the full details of his first anomalous experience after a contact protocol he felt called to create in 2023. In the induced encounter, he met a council or hive mind of non-human intelligences, calling themselves "the old gods," with one visually resembling the Ancient Egyptian deity Ra. However, they told him that humanity had gotten them (and reality) wrong, and they were not actually gods. The message went on and was truly wondrous and awe-inspiring.

This recording comprises three voice memos Anthony had recorded for private use over a span of one year--between 2023-2024--discussing his background, journey, and experience. He had shared bits and pieces of this in Ep. 1 of the podcast when it was called Obliterate The Construct. However, Sinéad’s predecessor on the show asked that we remove that episode for her own privacy when she moved on to other ventures and fields.

Anthony is still not sure what to make of this experience, how it blended subjectivity and objectivity, and what it potentially says about some of these "others" in relation to us, but it serves as a huge data point for him, and it set him down the path that has led him to eventually starting this podcast! It also grounded the influences of syncretism, meditative techniques like the Monroe Institute’s Gateway Process, binaural frequencies, and various cultural and folkloric modalities!

We hope this can be helpful to others out there who have experienced similar things, and we hope it can provide some hope at a time when dark, apocalyptic, fear-based narratives appear to be trending. We believe we have allies out there (and in here), and some of those allies may be more connected to us than we know!

Young was the former Senior Program Manager for the Native American Lands Environmental Mitigation Program (NALEMP) through the Departments of Defense. She is Afro-indigenous and an enrolled member of the Ciru'ehá ka (Nottoway) Tribe of Virginia.

Specializing in Tribal Law, Federal Grants Management, and Federal Indian Policy, she has worked extensively in Tribal financial management as a subject matter expert for the Tribal Capacity Building Center with Office of Child Care; Tribal discretionary grants as the Team Lead at the Administration for Native Americans; and Tribal education as a Biology/Psychology Teacher.

Young holds a Masters in Tribal Law from University of Oklahoma College of Law, along with a BA in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from University of Richmond. Passionate about decolonization, the environment, UAP/non-human intelligence (NHI) disclosure, language, and identity, she is committed to Indigenous, Black, Brown, and planetary liberation.
