About this listen

The heavily wounded and depleted team finally escapes and reaches their dropship, only to face another dilemma. Sneddon, who has been attacked by a face-hugger during their encounters in the mine, appears to recover from the alien’s attack.

It falls to Ripley to point out the truth that nobody wants to face. They either abandon Sneddon at the mine or risk the birth of a new alien aboard their ship. It’s a choice no-one wants to consider and a decision no-one should have to make.

An audio play not an audiobook. Some of the voice actors stop the performance getting a 5 (a lot of thar fault is down to shoddy writing at times). It's an alternate sequel to Alien, telling a story of what might have happened had Ripley been found 20 years before Aliens began. Its obviously nowhere near as good but it's worth a listen due to only being around 5 hours long. The lead voice actor does an excellent impersonation of Sigourney Weaver and Rutger Hauer is his usual fabulous self. Some of the characters make the usual clichéd bad horror movie decisions which brings the score of the story down. ie Ripley being the only one willing to do the right thing to a certain character that gets impregnated.

Short but worth a listen
