About this listen

Who is Hassan Butt? Years after his dramatic public humiliation, Shiv is piecing his life back together, but he’s still obsessed with Hassan. One day he meets a former star agent from the FBI who helps him see how Hassan fits into the picture of the global Jihadi network—how much he was a fantasist but how much truth was hidden amongst the lies, and how Hassan could have been useful not only to the Islamist terrorist networks but to Britain’s security services too...©2020 Audible Originals, LLC (P)2020 Audible Originals, LLC

Brilliant podcast, telling an incredible and hardly believable story. Superb work by Shiv and thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic

This was a gripping and binge worthy podcast. Superbly told with heart and at times some bittersweet humour. However yet another great podcast was ruined by silly sound effects and dramatic music. Maybe I’m old school but I hate dramatic music and sound effects in documentaries - which this basically is. I have no idea why music and SFX is injected into serious and absorbing podcasts. No one would do it in a book!

Superb. Heartfelt. Ruined by music and sound effects.

Seemed to build a great story but didn’t deliver at the end, average at best

Anticlimactic
