Episode 7: Eleanor Tweddell, Author and Entrepreneur

  • Summary

  • Eleanor Tweddell is the author of Why Losing Your Job Could Be The Best Thing To Ever Happen To You, and the founder of her company Another Door – which helps coach people through the experience of job loss and redundancy. In this episode I talk with Eleanor about her own experience of being made redundant from a big corporate job during a time of personal grief, and what it was like to then write a book and start a business based on that. She also shares with us how she looks after her own mental health while being of service to others at such a challenging time. Plus, of course, we discuss what’s ultimately at the heart of her work.

You can follow The Heart Of It on Instagram, and you can buy my book 'How To Work Without Losing Your Mind' at all good bookshops. The Heart Of It is produced by Cate Sevilla and Hannah Varrall, and edited by Hannah Varrall.
