The word "just" gets thrown around a lot — just get up, just move on, just try harder — as if a condition, an illness, or a wound can be switched off like a light. It can't. No one can "just" anything their way out of clinical depression, PTSD, or any other legitimate struggle, and this episode calls that out plainly.
But there's another definition of just — one rooted in fairness, reason, and what is right and true. In a time when justice has been buried under noise, tribalism, and self-interest, that definition matters more than ever.
This episode also goes somewhere quieter: the people who believed they destroyed someone else's life often only managed to destroy their own futures. Meanwhile, the ones left standing are still here — still fighting not just to survive, but to live, to thrive, and to be.
