In this episode, we’re talking about something that comes before the meal plans, workouts, and weight loss goals: recognizing when it’s time to make a lifestyle change.
I share some of the signs that made me realize I needed to start making changes in my own life, along with the lessons I’m still learning along the way. This isn’t coming from someone who has everything figured out. I’m still on my own journey. I’m a college student, I still enjoy Starbucks, I still eat dessert, and I still have days where I’m trying to find the balance between living life and working toward my goals.
We talk about why trying to completely change your life overnight usually doesn’t work, how to identify your reasons for wanting to change, and the importance of building habits that are actually realistic for your lifestyle. Most importantly, we discuss letting go of the all or nothing mindset that keeps so many people stuck.
If you’ve been feeling like something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start, this episode is for you. My goal with this podcast isn’t to pretend I have all the answers. It’s to share my experiences, what I’m learning, what’s working, what’s not, and hopefully remind you that you don’t have to be perfect to make progress.
