Daisy first met Pod Save the UK and Mash Report host Nish Kumar at one of her earliest live gigs. It did not go well.

Nish is leaning in with a classic children’s book from one of the world’s most respected living authors. He’s a knight of the realm, a Booker prize winner, and once had a cameo in Bridget Jones’ Diary (perhaps unsurprising which one of those facts most piques Daisy’s interest…).

You be surprised to learn that reading the books Daisy’s guests discuss isn’t necessary to enjoy this fabulous podcast. It’s well produced and sweary and has some massive names as guests, hopefully there’ll be as many episodes as books what exists in real life
