I recorded that episode a month ago and as I listened to it, I remembered why I recorded it. I wanted to make another attempt at podcasting.  There has always been a reason for stopping and starting this project. Simply, being scared of what speaking my whole mind may do to my professional career. In high profile positions and making very good money, you have to be careful about what you say in public. Knowing that I do not have financial back up, a sponsor or sugar daddy, I had to be careful. So, I would only say 1/2 of what I thought. Those who know me know I speak my mind and talk a lot of "shit" when I am in my zone. I would go really hard then erase or not publish the episode. It did not feel authentic or real. Today and now, I am saying fuck it. You will soon understand why I wanted to do the Emotionally Yours Podcast.

    Emotionally yours, April

Today, Bridgette and I did a pop up at The Beanhead Brothers Coffee House @ 2495 Romig Rd, Akron, OH to do this episode of Emotionally Yours Podcast. She is a young lady that I call a friend after learning that we have similar styles, backgrounds and statuses in life. We take the moment to talk about living, loving and laughing. It seems that all conversations always reverted back to loving. Relationships, situations and entanglements are an essential part of life. We think when you allow black women to talk about that subject ain't no telling where the conversation goes.
