    This week on Earth Radio, the ongoing, record-shattering European heatwave would have been "virtually impossible" just 50 years ago, and a Paris court found TotalEnergies liable for the emissions linked to the products it sells.

    Meanwhile, none of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is on track to be reached by the 2030 deadline, and the US Senate blocks efforts by the Trump administration to dismantle a key network of ocean observation instruments used by thousands of scientists to monitor climate change, sea level rise and marine heatwaves.
