What began as a simple landfill fire turned into one of America’s strangest and most haunting disasters, forcing families to abandon their homes while smoke rose from the earth beneath their feet.

Beaker and Ghosty explore the tragedy, the terrifying stories from the people who refused to leave, the hidden dangers still buried underground, and the eerie atmosphere that inspired Silent Hill. From collapsing ground and toxic gas to empty streets and forgotten graves, Centralia remains a chilling reminder of how quickly an entire town can disappear.
