About this listen
MICHIGAN WOLVERINES
In this episode we sit down with Garrett Schifsky — the dynamic forward from Andover, Minnesota whose relentless drive and hockey IQ have propelled him from high school standout to NCAA star at the Michigan Wolverines men's ice hockey. A proven leader at every level, Garrett led the Waterloo Black Hawks as captain and was a consistent offensive force in the USHL before stepping onto the Big Ten stage.
Since arriving at Michigan, he’s quickly become a cornerstone of the Wolverines’ lineup, earning All-Big Ten Freshman honors.
Garrett gets real about what it takes to be successful at the collegiate level — the mindset, the leadership, the sacrifices — and how believing in your abilities and trusting the process can turn talent into impact.
Whether it’s leading teammates, battling adversity, or rising to the moment, he breaks down the self-belief and work ethic that drive every shift.
