EP79 Practice episode!
Today, we practice imashita (いました) and arimashita (ありました).
In this episode, you will practice sentences like:
Disneyland ni takusan hito ga imashita.
(There were many people at Disneyland.)
Hanabi taikai ni takusan hito ga imashita.
(There were many people at the fireworks festival.)
Kinou ie ni imashita.
(I was at home yesterday.)
Eki no chikaku ni pan-ya ga arimashita.
(There was a bakery near the station.)
Kouen no tonari ni ookii chuushajou ga arimashita.
(There was a big parking lot next to the park.)
We will practice there was / there were in Japanese.
First, listen and repeat.
Then, try to answer by yourself.
If you haven’t listened to EP78 yet, please listen to the input episode first.
Don’t worry if you cannot answer quickly.
Practice many times, and eventually you will get used to it.
