• Dear universe, mums just wanna have fun!
    Jul 3 2026

This week, we're talking about something so many mums struggle with... the guilt of choosing ourselves.

After booking a girls weekend to Dublin months in advance, I found myself questioning everything when it clashed with my children's dance competition, football presentation and sports day.

Should I go? Was I being selfish? Would they remember I wasn't there?

From a disastrous 4am stomach bug (not tequila), matching tattoos to Florence and the machine, Dublin pride and some unexpected life lessons. This episode is full of laughter, honesty and a reminder that mums deserve to make memories too.

If you've ever felt guilty for taking a break, saying yes to yourself or putting your own happiness first, this ones for you.

So grab a cuppa, get comfy, and lets have a chat because dear universe, we need to talk.

  • Dear universe, does this make me an adult?
    Jun 23 2026

This week I'm talking about one of the scariest things I've ever done.... buying a house on my own.

After years of searching, one disastrous gazumping experience, countless sleepless nights, and approximately 47 emotional breakdowns, my house has finally completed and I feel like I've entered adulthood.

So why do I suddenly feel so poor again?

I'm chatting about the fear of putting all of your money into one thing, why money has become such a massive trigger for me, and how a divorce settlement became both a safety blanket and a stepping stone to the next chapter of my life.

We also get into inheritance, teaching kids about money, mum guilt, work guilt, the impossibloe pressure of trying to be everything to everyone, and why sometimes doing the right feels absolutely terrifying and boring!

Plus, the story of how getting gazumped turned out to be the best thing that could have happened and how I'm learning to trust that maybe, just maybe, the universe knows what it's doing.

    Scared? Absolutely.

    Excited? Also yes.

    Adulting.... Reluctantly.

  • Dear universe, mum guilt and other full time jobs.
    May 29 2026

This week on Dear Universe We Need To Talk, we're talking about mum guilt - the invisble pressure that follows mothers everywhere. From working mum guilt and screen time shame to "Disneyland dads." emotional labour, social media perfection, and why women everywhere feel guilty for simply needing a break, we unpack the impossible expectations placed on modern mums.

In true Dear Universe style, it's honest, funny, relatable, and slightly chaotic - because parenting isn't Pinterest boards and organic cucumber sandwiches cut into stars... it's surviving on cold tea, fish fingers, and pure determination.

  • Dear universe.... I lost my phone, my identity and my sanity!
    May 8 2026

This week on Dear universe, we need to talk.... I accidentally locked my phone inside a house and had absolutely no way of getting it back for an entire week.

No WhatsApp, no banking, no social media, no contact.

And of course... it happened right before my sons 13th birthday.

What started as pure chaos quickly spiralled into stress, mum guilt, logistical nightmares and one very humbling financial moment that completely threw me. But somewhere amongst the panic and noise, something unexpected happened....

    Things got quiet.

In this episode, I unpack what losing my phone taught me about modern life, constant connectivity, mental overload, distraction, productivity and presence - and why being forced off-grid may have been the accidental reset I didn't know I needed.

A funny, honest and surprisingly emotional episode about what happens when your entire life lives inside one little rectangle..... and suddenly disappears.

  • Dear universe, I'd like a refund on this marriage.
    Mar 10 2026

In this episode I talk honestly about the reality of divorce grief - the loss of the life you thought you were building, the identity shift when "we" suddenly becomes "I", and the emotional chaos that can follow.

From the messy "feral era" nobody warns you about, to the science behind why your nervous system goes into survival mode after relational trauma, this episode explores what it actually looks like to rebuild yourself after everything falls apart.

Because healing after divorce isn't linear, it isn't pretty, and it definitely isn't quiet - but it is possible.

  • Dear universe, 2026 is going to be my year (really!)
    Jan 2 2026

As another year comes to a close, this episode is about pausing, looking back, and giving ourselves credit where it's due.

We reflect the challenges, the growth, and the small wins that often go unnoticed - taking the positives, practising gratitude, and recognising just how much we've survived and achieved, even when the year didn't go to plan.

It's not about pretending everything was perfect. It's about acknowledging how far you've come - and stepping into 2026 with goals, hope, honesty, and a little more self-compassion.
