    Awake For Days is a five-piece modern metalcore band from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Italy. Over the years, the band has steadily built an international following through relentless touring, independent releases and a constantly evolving sound . With frontman Lukas Moore now being the band’s producer, he and the rest of the members have reshaped their identity to maintain the authenticity and uniqueness that continues to set them apart. This evolution continues with the release of “Heaven's Favorite Sin,” a track that captures Awake For Days at their most honest, ambitious and artistically free. The track "Heaven's Favorite Sin ” explores themes that resonate deeply with the world we're living in today. While many songs focus on personal experiences, Awake For Days chose to look outward, reflecting on the recurring patterns of conflict, division and the ways humanity learns to "justify" them. It's a subject the band felt they couldn't ignore. "Wars, humanitarian crises, people forced to leave their homes, growing division between societies... these aren't isolated events, they're part of a pattern we've seen throughout history. 'Heaven's Favorite Sin' isn't about one country or one conflict. It's about how easily we learn to justify things that, at their core, should never become normal.     With the premiere of Acorn TV's new mystery drama You're Killing Me, I wanted to introduce composer, songwriter, producer, and artist Alexandra Petkovski AKA FJØRA. Executive produced by and starring Brooke Shields, the series marks Alexandra's first network television project, for which she created the score, main title theme, and original songs featured throughout the season.

    Known for blending score and soundtrack, Alexandra built a musical world where themes introduced throughout the series conclude in songs released under FJØRA. Inspired by the New England coastal setting, she incorporated sampled seashells and seagulls into the score, while also lending her vocals to the main title theme. The project was a strong collaboration with showrunner Robin Bernheimburger, who shares her passion for music-driven storytelling.

    Prior to You're Killing Me, Alexandra worked alongside Linda Perry on Prime Video's Welcome to the Blumhouse and was recently featured in Emmy Magazine ahead of the series premiere. Mentored by Siddharth "Sid" Khosla (Only Murders in the Building), she can speak about blending songwriting with scoring, developing a distinctive compositional style, and building a career across both the artist and composer worlds.     Manu Chevalier is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, songwriter and producer from
    Marseille, France with a wealth of knowledge and love for all kinds of music. His latest
    release, which features vocalist Lumina B, sits comfortably in the disco/pop/funk lane.
    Titled “I’m Alright,” the track is designed to get people dancing but the lyrics tell a
    deeper story.
    The track “I’m Alright” went through some transformations in its creative process and
    Manu is proud of the final result. He was a student at a songwriting academy in London
    and naturally, was tasked with writing a song. Several mentors at this academy have
    multiple accolades in the music world and they gave Manu direct feedback. However,
    some changes had to be made before the song was officially released.
    “Originally, the song sounded like ‘Levitating’ by Dua Lipa. So I made several changes
    and adjustments, which was a multistep process.” he said.
    While Manu does sing on the demo version of the song, he knew he wanted a female
    vocalist on the final version and he came across Lumina B who loved the song. Her
    vocals on the song enhance the uplifting atmosphere of the song and the multilayered
    lyrics. .
    Manu Chevalier plays formerly both tenor and alto sax as well as the keyboard. But
    ironically, the saxophone heard on “I’m Alright” is a MIDI sax sounding keyboard that
    Manu plays for artistic or ethical reasons.
    Manu’s musical background includes jazz and bossa nova and he is no stranger to the
    joy that comes from performing music live.
    “I love communicating with the audience as I perform. I often left the stage and would
    walk down the aisles, playing directly in front of the audience. I loved enjoying their
    energy, dancing and happiness.” he said.
    Manu’s experience with playing with music live enhanced his love for doing surprising
    things with the audience. In addition to leaving the stage, he also enjoyed doing new
    arrangements and versions of songs or adding his own solo parts to covers his band
    was doing. With a musical ear that was trained from his older sisters showing him a
    plethora of music growing up, he grew to have an appreciation for all genres from
    multiple decades.
    “From listening to all of these artists and genres, I began to form melodies in my own
    head. At that age, I didn’t realize I was composing. I kept listening to more and more
    artists and began to seek out artists on my own too.” he said.
    Manu’s musical foundation led him to creating all kinds of tracks in his career ranging
    from tracks like the disco/pop/funk of “I’m Alright” to soul, R&B, jazz, reggae,bossa
    nova.
    One of his biggest musical collaborations includes a remix that featured rapper
    Alonestar, who is Ed Sheeran’s cousin, Snoop Dogg and uncredited (for legal reasons)
    vocals from Ed Sheeran himself. He also has worked with vocalists and songwriters like
    Paul Statham (Dido, Kylie Minogue), Morris Pleasure (Michael Jackson , Earth Wind
    and Fire) who were also belonging to his mentors at the songwriting academy and also
    some songwriters/artists like Tamra Hayden.
    Manu has plans for the future like reworking and rereleasing some of his earlier tracks
    like “Get On The Dance Floor.” He will also release new music that will continue to
    showcase a plethora of genres and elements that will get listeners up and ready to have
    a good time.

    Ronesha Strickland is a Writer and Producer. Originally from Maryland, Ms. Strickland relocated to Atlanta, GA to further pursue the craft of screenwriting. She enrolled in multiple film workshops to enhance her skills and gained hands-on experience working on several sets such as “ Black Panther 2”, “Fantasy Football” and “Dashing Through The Snow”. She also interned with a few local production studios. She was then inspired to produce her own content. Her directorial work includes the short film drama "Bloom", short silent film "Silence" and season 1 & 2 of "Southern Hospitality ", a digital web series, which inspired her to dive further into the comedy genre. Currently, she is in pre-production for a couple of shows, which are set to go to principal this summer. Her ultimate vision is to create performance art schools around the world, giving other creative beings a home to hon and grow their skills.

    Deri Tyton is an Award-Winning Writer/Producer/Director, who grew up in Chicago enjoying
    Kung Fu, comedy, and action movies. As a very imaginative child growing up, he became interested in how films were made, but it wasn't until 1999 when he was invited to P.A. on an independent film set, which prompted him to write the screenplay, TOOT'S & BLOW'S, in 2001. As a self-taught filmmaker, Deri produced three critically sought-out films: Welcome To The Southside, The Party Line, and Love Bones. In each of these films, Deri deals with personal themes of Love & Sacrifice. While each film has had distribution, it was his latest independent film, FINDING FOREVER IN LOVE (2015), that has pushed his writing, directing, and producing endeavors to new heights with a distribution deal at Robert Johnson's streaming channel, Urban Movie Channel. He has since gone on to co-write web series, independent films, and television series, as well as produce a screenwriter's book entitled, The Film Mechanic: The Process to Writing A Screenplay That Works. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Chicago State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Class Salutatorian) from Full Sail University. As a 2017 and 2018 Fulton County Arts & Culture grant recipient in Atlanta, GA, he began The Film Mechanic Screenwriting Class which teaches writers the process and business of screenwriting. Deri's truest goal is to tell universal stories through his experiences of being Black in America.

    Dr. India Dorsey Gaston, Ph.D., artistically known as Indi Tyton, is an international
    singer-songwriter, filmmaker, educator, and entrepreneur whose career bridges the creative and
    business sides of the entertainment industry. With more than 25 years of experience spanning
    music, film, leadership development, and arts education, she has built a career dedicated to
    empowering creatives while actively contributing to the industry as both an artist and executive.
    A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Dorsey-Gaston comes from a multigenerational
    family of performers and educators. Inspired by a rich musical heritage rooted in jazz, R&B,
    soul, classical music, and opera, she began her artistic journey as a songwriter and later
    expanded into filmmaking, producing projects that have been recognized by film festivals and
    audiences across the country.
    In addition to her creative work, Dr. Dorsey-Gaston is a Business Psychologist whose research
    focuses on leadership within the entertainment industry. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in
    Psychology from Hampton University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Fisk University, a
    Master of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Middle Tennessee State
    University, a Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and a Ph.D.
    in Organizational Leadership with research centered on leadership self-efficacy in the
    entertainment industry. She is the Founder and CEO of Entertainment Leadership Academy, LLC, an organization dedicated to leadership development and wellness for creatives and athletes, and serves as CEO and Co-Founder of Famous on Purpose, LLC, a media and entertainment company
    focused on storytelling, education, and creative development.
    Dr. Dorsey-Gaston is a longtime member of The Recording Academy, where she has served as
    a District Advocate and mentor, and is affiliated with numerous professional organizations
    supporting the advancement of artists, filmmakers, educators, and entrepreneurs. Her work
    reflects a commitment to developing both the creative and leadership capacities of
    entertainment professionals while fostering meaningful opportunities for artistic expression,
    education, and community impact. As Vice-Chairperson of the Bloody Peach Film Festival, Dr. Dorsey-Gaston brings a unique perspective that combines artistic achievement, academic research, leadership development, and industry experience. She is passionate about supporting independent filmmakers, amplifying diverse voices, and helping creatives build sustainable careers while using
