Our guest this episode is a Northwest legend, Mr Tommy Niemeyer of The Accused and later Gruntruck. One of the earliest bands in the crossover punk/metal movement, The Accused stood out from much of what was happening in Seattle in the 80s and were trailblazers for the scene. Our guest this episode is Robb Benson, singer/songwriter of just about a hundred bands over the years and most recently the dynamic Planets In The Ocean who just released The Loud Silence. Robb is one of the most rawly talented multi-instrumentalists I've ever played with and is a prolific writer/recordist, sometimes writing and self-recording entire albums-worth of songs in a week on his own. We caught up as Robb was just getting home from a solo road trip and it was a pleasure to hang with an old friend and hear about what he's been keeping busy with. I hope you enjoy!

Our guest this episode is a Seattle legend, Robert Roth of the band TRULY. Formed in 1990 on the cusp of Seattle changing the popular musical landscape all around the world, the band released 2 albums albums during the peak grunge-era with the legendary line-up of Robert on guitar/vox, Hiro Yamamoto on bass (Soundgarden) and Mark Pickerel on drums (Screaming Trees). Truly is currently on the road, touring across the US celebrating "30 years of Fast Stories…from Kid Coma" and will be entering the studio to record a new album upon their return. Which, is exactly what the world needs right now if you ask me. If you see Truly coming to town anywhere near you, I highly recommend going and seeing this band.

Our guest this episode is Brian McClelland, guitarist and creative heartbeat of Filth Is Eternal. I have only seen the band live once, but I was super impressed with them and recommend getting out to see them if you're a fan of classic metal, trash, or crossover. This band rips! Their new album, Impossible World, will be released on March 17 and they'll be playing shows throughout 2026 to support the new release.
