  • Episode 10: Simmering Pots - AEW, CMLL, Ring of Honor Recap & Discussion
    Jan 27 2026

We’re back and catching up on all the graps! Join us as we discuss AEW Dynamite (January 21) and Collision (January 24), as well as the Maximum Carnage shows from the previous week. We also talk CMLL’s International Weekend (January 17-19), Ring of Honor, and some great indie moments.

[02:56] Clearing the air about TNA Impact: our take on secondhand reviews, the wrestling ecosystem, and what network executives might be thinking. Relatedly…

[08:28] Ring of Honor: big things are afoot?! Two upcoming Global Wars events, tons of new signings, vague talk from TK, and what it takes to preserve a crumbling landmark (literally).

[17:57] AEW Dynamite: all the storylines, including important context from the previous week’s Maximum Carnage events. First, we talk MJF vs. Bandido and the indie events they worked at Limitless and Warrior Wrestling two days later. (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver are ALL ELITE!!!) Then: we all want Horsec*ck, Don Callis takes advantage of our collective Kenny Omega deprivation kink, and Mina Shirakawa gets yeeted a little too far. Kat goes on a tirade about dirtsheets and coy spoilers, and Adam delivers Death Riders/DCF analysis you won’t find anywhere else.

[1:04:03] AEW Collision: again, with context from Maximum Carnage! We’re grooving to the new theme music like the cheesy dance kids we are. The pros and cons of throwing together an event on short notice, the Ted Cruz Waffle House Index, Hangman contends with the monster Speedball created, intergender trios titles (!), enduring questions about the National title, Willow Nightingale takes on Julia Hart while Kris Statlander prepares to fend off Thekla, the world’s saddest Bang Bang Gang intro, Protoshita reunited!, a chaotic tag team recap, Darby farts around and we have opinions about it, Andrade strips for our pleasure, Roddy takes on Claudio for the CMLL Heavyweight Championship, and SOMEONE’s gotta save Poppin’ Dogs and Talkin’ Hogs.

[1:55:43] CMLL Fin de Semana Internacional: an entire long weekend of killer matches with CMLL and AEW talent! What ridiculous matchup actually made us bite the bullet and pay for the CMLL streaming subscription? Why is everyone booing Místico?

[2:02:10] Ring of Honor HonorClub: a very quick recap of a few notable matches from HonorClub #150 (January 15) and #151 (January 22). We demand a Trish Adora/Taya Valkyrie feud immediately! We demand that Rule Britannia be thrown in the trash!

[2:05:11] Coming up this week: everything we’re looking forward to from AEW, ROH, and CMLL! Plus: Bean of the Week RETURNS! now with bonus cats!

  • Episode 9: Adam Is Cancelled - AEW Dynamite/Collision, ROH HonorClub
    Jan 13 2026

Join us as we perfect our alchemy rave hands and discuss AEW Dynamite (January 7), Collision (January 10), and Ring of Honor HonorClub #149 (January 8).

[00:50] NJPW WrestleKingdom 20: We caught up! Just a few words about how lovely Tanahashi’s retirement match and ceremony were.

[01:36] AEW Dynamite recap introduction, complete with car alarms and Jim Ross-related rants. Whoops. We meet Davis & Doyle, watch Mox get tossed around by Shelty B, and suggest hide-and-seek hints for Darby Allin.

[08:06] Dynamite continued: Jack Perry & The Young Bucks vs. The Demand, who are demanding to know who farted. Building toward tag team chaos, perhaps? Plus: the déjà-vu return of Andrade El Ídolo! A healthy sprinkle of salt on behalf of the Bang Bang Gang!

[16:32] Willow Nightingale celebrates her TBS Championship: with cake, naturally! Mercedes gets some cake. Kat makes plans for her birthday and shares a joke from an old friend.

[20:04] The promos continue! Mark Briscoe addresses us from the chicken farm, and we discuss what Hechicero means to us. Thekla and the Triangle of Madness read Kris Statlander for filth.

[21:34] Sammy Guevara (and the other ROH guys) put pressure on Bandido. We have a cold take on the 21-plex, and then take it back. MJF and Jon Cruz provide valuable interpretation services. Cue the X-Files theme, because we want to believe… in Bandido! A treatise on doomerism and a shout-out to Carol Sturka are also involved, somehow.

[33:36] Toni Storm (in her pink-and-white playsuit era) vs. Marina Shafir and her misbehaving sons! We talk potential Death Riders/Conglomeration stories and get pretty deep into bi visibility/panic, queer representation and male intimacy, and what we think is really going on with Toni, Mina, and Orange. Kat demurs on Adam’s line of questioning.

[45:07] The Bastard Pac is… the most normal and polite character on Dynamite this week? Darby Allin says: with faces like these, who needs heels?

[47:22] Lights Out! Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland take on Hook & Powerhouse Hobbs. Is revenge exacted? Did that sicko drink a bunch of backwash with his beer? What are Swerve’s true intentions? We ask the important questions and don’t have any answers.

[56:07] AEW Collision recap: The Death Riders mix it up with SkyFlight, including their newest member, Zayda Steel! We spend some time hyping up Dante and Darius Martin, talking about Mox’s vision, and speculating that Pac vs. Darby will be much more than meets the eye.

[1:03:52] Collision continued: Roddy still thinks he’s not conglomerating (a theological analysis). Brody King squashes someone so fast, we have no idea who got squashed. El Clon and Komander dazzle us with incredible lucha libre! Mina Shirakawa and Lady Frost put some mustard on it, and we decide Mina’s secret admirer should be the most dramatic option imaginable! Mercedes Moné bids farewell for now to AEW, and we take the opportunity to throw some well-deserved shade at Matt Cardona.

[1:11:55] TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe vs. Hechicero, an absolute ripper!

[1:15:15] Collision continued: why are the Grizzled Young Veterans so mad at Eddie Kingston again? The Cosmic Babes of Wrath throw a trios party with Hyan, Maya World, and VertVixen! Stat talks shit. Adam gets cancelled. Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher begin to clear the air, and we are very excited about what might come next. We wax enthusiastic about JetSpeed, Anthony Bowens and The Demand (and talk scissoring diagrams).

[1:27:01] Ring of Honor chat: Ace Austin vs. Aaron Solo, the new members of SkyFlight and CRU, and some mysterious words from our Forever Champion, Athena. Lee Moriarty & Trish Adora need to tag together again immediately! Dalton Castle & The Outrunners take on the Fart House, and Taya Valkyrie wonders why Red Velvet is ignoring her from three feet away. MxM Collection gets fed to the Von Erichs, for some reason. We have some opinions about the ROH men’s singles and tag team title scenes!

  • Episode 8: Crashouts and Glowups - AEW Worlds End, Dynamite/Collision, Ring of Honor
    Jan 6 2026

Join us as we ring in 2026 with a discussion of AEW Worlds End (December 27), New Years Smash (December 31), and Collision (January 3) as well as Ring of Honor’s YouTube special episode (December 30) and HonorClub #148 (January 1).

[00:58] Worlds End: How do we think it compared to other recent AEW PPVs?

[02:21] Zero Hour matches and ensuing storylines: Sisters of Sin vs. the All Elite Hyan & Maya World, Eddie Kingston clashes with the Grizzled Young Vets, El Clon leaps from the dark web, Luchasaurus gets barricaded… and who put that bounty on JetSpeed’s heads?!

[15:38] C2 Semifinals! The hot and spicy drama continues with Okada vs. Takeshita and Moxley vs. Fletcher.

[24:51] AEW Men’s and Women’s Tag Team Championship matches and the state of the tag title scene, featuring the Little Table That Could! Where the hell was Ace Austin? Mercedes and Athena are no match for the Babes of Wrath, probably because they’re not in matching gear!

[35:24] Death Rider Derangement! Gabe Kidd vs. Darby Allin did about what we expected, but Mixed Nuts Mayhem fulfilled all our hopes and dreams. Plus, Mixed Nuts Redux from Dynamite, a preview of Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir, throuple trouble brewing courtesy of Citrus Boy, and who truly strikes fear in the heart of Claudio Castagnoli.

[50:50] The Mercedes Moné crashout continues, culminating in the main event of 2025 and a NEW TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale!

[54:47] Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter knocked our blocks off. What’s next for the women’s singles division?

[58:45] C2 Final: Mox vs. Okada in a first-time singles matchup! Shock and awe (and our smug, know-it-all nonsense)! What does this mean for Mox and the Death Riders? How about the Don Callis Family?

[1:11:53] Men’s World Championship: MJF grabs the gold and begins a new reign. We have some opinions about how that came to pass and what might happen next! We talk Kenny Omega, Hangman and Swerve, Bandido and Brody, hot potatoes, and playful predictions for practically all our top guys.

[1:39:51] Ring of Honor chat: More Hammerstein hijinks, featuring tons of local talent and Charles Mason’s bitey ROH singles debut! (and the crowd goes wild!) The Grinch (MxM TV) is righteously vanquished to cap off the holiday season.

[1:51:45] Looking forward: the importance of composting! We start dipping our toes into NJPW for the first time! Also: who has two thumbs and is semi-impulsively going to Revolution?! (this guy)
