I am 36 and have been enjoying all of these podcasts chronologically. I enjoy listening to a great many history titles and audiobooks, but i enjoy these podcasts in particular as background to some of the events which I should already know. I never chose history as an option at school and the background from these is great.

The content is first class, but the audio needs a little work. May I suggest the Mr W invest in a higher quality dynamic Mic? I have downloaded these in series (all of the 1066 episodes for example) and put them in Logic to normalize, compress and EQ them so that I can listen to 5 or 6 episodes in one mammoth podcast. Enjoying them greatly after a little audio editing.

These podcasts are great for listeners of all ages, not just the GCSE students!
