In this special episode of the Built to Be You Podcast, Michaela sits down with Brittany Anderson, a virtual assistant turned VA mentor and coach, to reflect on their journeys of growth and evolution over the past few years. Entrepreneurship can feel daunting, but sometimes the worst-case scenario is simply staying where you are. Taking the leap, even when it’s scary, can open doors you never expected. Building a business is hard work, but so is staying stuck in a role that doesn’t light you up—so choose your hard wisely.

Success is deeply personal and should align with your values and lifestyle, rather than being defined by others. Transferable skills from all areas of life—corporate jobs, motherhood, or simply managing daily responsibilities—can set you up for success in entrepreneurship. Remember that your journey will likely involve pivots and growth; be open to change and stay true to what excites you.
