There's gotta be more to this than getting up, punching the clock, barely making it, and watching the rest go to taxes. That's why we're here.
This is episode one. We introduce ourselves, lay out the mission, and get into why we're doing this in the first place.
A little about us. We're both Marine vets and respiratory therapists with about 14 years in. Jesse did two combat tours in Ramadi, came home, washed dishes during the 2008 crash, and worked his way into respiratory therapy. Now he's building Respiratory Tactician, a bedside app for clinicians that he taught himself to make. Jason did his tours, ran his dad's painting company, and is standing up his own painting business from the ground up.
This show is for the people who want more than the daily grind. The ones putting in work in silence, fighting doubt and setbacks, betting on themselves when nobody else will. We're not at the top of the ladder. We're in the trenches with you, documenting the climb in real time.
What we get into:
Our story, the Marine Corps, and how we both landed in respiratory therapy
The BRT mission and who this show is really for
Jason on starting a painting business: licensing, tools, and what it actually costs to begin
Jesse on building the Respiratory Tactician app from zero coding experience
Why most people quit when it gets hard, and how to keep going
Figure out your vision and bet on yourself
Stay in the fight.
Built In Real Time. Building the vision, taking the hits, and documenting the climb.
