    60 games in and it's been a remarkable year. 2 10-game win streaks and 1 10-game losing streak. 2017 Dodgers did it, too. They went to the World Series. Let's hope the Cubs can do the same. Cubs went 13-15 in May, here's to June being a more successful month for the team. Ian Happ about to hit a major milestone, PCA is heating up and Jordan Wicks has been sent back to Triple-A Iowa. Matthew Boyd and Edward Cabrera are both expected to return from the Injured List in the next week or so. Plus, news and notes from around Major League Baseball.

    The Chicago Cubs have won 10 games in a row! I was there for the first win in Philadelphia and they haven't lost since. It's great to see the turnaround. The offense has found ways to get it done. Starting rotation has been better than expected. Bullpen depth has proven valuable. Not mentioned but worht point out here: Nicky Lopez is back! Cubs acquired him on Thursday and have moved on from Scott Kingery. Also, the first National League game in Cubs history took place 150 years ago today: April 25, 1876. The team then known as the Chicago White Stockings recorded a win over Louisville. Not just Cubs news, but also a look at news and notes from around Major League Baseball
