Some conversations are different when you've known the person sitting across from you for more than 20 years.

In this episode, I sit down with my longtime friend David "Dake" Isberg. While many know him as the founder and original vocalist of Opeth, there's so much more to his story than most people realize.

Over the years, Dake has evolved through different chapters of life—from music and the early days of the Swedish metal scene to becoming an author, a sommelier, a spoeksman for Craft Beer and a creative force in many different fields. What has always remained the same is his curiosity, passion, and unique perspective on life.

This conversation goes far beyond music. We talk about creativity, friendship, books, beers, personal growth, and the experiences that shape us over time. When you've known someone for two decades, the conversation naturally becomes less of an interview and more of an honest exchange between friends.

There are stories, reflections, plenty of laughs, and a few moments that only come from sharing a long history together.
