About this listen
My friend posed an interesting question: why do people in the Western world live with anxiety, fear of the future, and other ailments? This seemed especially perplexing considering we live in a city with healthcare access and above average wealth relative to the rest of the world. Even within our city, 90% of its inhabitants are part of the wealthiest 1%, which is an outstanding statistic. Yet we still experience such levels of fear, despite all that has been provided to us. It seems like we should not be living like this, yet here we are. Perhaps there is more to consider when it comes to what contributes to anxiety in modern society.
