We take a deep dive into the story of Abraham and the tithe.This is part one of a series. Abraham did not tithe of his personal income. Abraham did tithe from the spoils of a battle he won.This was a one off event. Abraham may have tithed to the civil government at that time as a form of taxation because most citizens did even in those times, however it is never clearly stated that he did so. In this episode we learn of a unique character named Melchizedek. We discuss lessons to be learned. We approach this as a jury member looking at all the evidence presented before drawing a conclusion.
