    A Feminist Family History in Eight Lives is a podcast about tracing family history and re-creating the stories of grandmothers and great-grandmothers which often remain out of sight.

    My name is Dr Kate Carruthers Thomas and I’ll be your host and companion. I'm an an academic researcher, artist and feminist as well as an amateur family historian.

    I'll be sharing my research methods, my grandmothers' and great-grandmothers' stories and interviewing some inspiring people about their work in this area.
