Welcome to A Crotchety Podcast!

Isn't music a nice thing?

We (Chris Fordham and David Luck) certainly think so: as well as playing in a band together, we wanted to share our great love of music with all of you. Truth is, there's FAR too much that doesn't get the love it deserves, so as well as the stuff that everyone's heard of, we'll be introducing you (and each other!) to a ton of tracks we're certain you'll never have heard before!

When we say underrated, some of this stuff is so obscure, you can't even listen to it online!!

There'll be regular guests and no limits on decade or genre! We hope you'll join us on this journey of discovery with a splash of sense of humour and general chat thrown in!

    Jun 16 2026

Chris and David are getting all biological this week, as this episode is themed around the human body: tune in for brilliant songs by The Pretenders, Oasis, Magnum, Silversun Pickups and many many more!

We would also like to point out that this episode features no songs about genitalia whatsoever...

    ...except one.

    Jun 9 2026

Fancy joining us for a bit of (vegetarian) beef?

This may be the most vitriolic episode yet, because not only are Chris and David joined by Stephen again, but they are exploring the bitter world of diss tracks. They're not just a thing from the world of hip-hop either: we have tracks from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and even Foo Fighters!

Enjoy the show! But please be nice to each other.....
