新型コロナの影響で２０２０年２月下旬の３連休からモデルルーム来場者が急減した。だが、建築費の上昇や立地の厳選が進み、かつ大手の寡占が高まっていることから、「値下がりは限定的だ」とデベロッパー各社は口をそろえる。
今がマンションの買い時かと聞かれれば、そうではないかもしれない。それでも、家賃がもったいない、資産を持ちたいなどの理由から今持ち家が欲しい人もいる。情報洪水の中だからこそ、質の低いマンションを掴まされないよう、買う側も目利き力を養っておきたい。そこで、マンション開発・販売のリアルを明らかにし、売り手と買い手の間に横たわる情報の非対称性を埋めるべく徹底取材した。なお、新型コロナウイルス感染症による経済や社会への影響は不確実な要素もあり、掲載の情報は取材時点であることを、おことわりしておく。
