  • American Tales Live at Sharky's Bar Featuring Casey West, Trett Charles, and Garrett Brown
    Jun 11 2026

The full episode of American Tales Live from Sharky's on Grand Lake in Northeast Oklahoma featuring American musicians Garrett Brown Band, Casey West, and Trett Charles is officially here. This episode was recorded with a live audience on Friday, June 5th, 2026.

We get behind the scenes access to the authentic stories of how these storytellers chose music, what keeps them motivated to continue to grow as artists, and how life and music are undeniably intertwined, as art in any form of expression has a tendency to imitate life and its many seasons.

We also get a load of laughs, as these musicians trace their friendship back decades, including some laughs that were for live only audience members. From Elvis to Luke Bryan and my childhood hero beer run guy behind my local gas station, $20 Rob, we recognize our growth, acknowledge what keeps us going, and ponder what we will be remember for when we are gone.

Much love and appreciation to Lisa Clark Cookson for allowing us to record the show live at Sharky’s. This venue and the people there are legendary!

More American Tales episodes featuring rising musicians from across the country are coming to streaming and social media platforms soon.
