About this listen
Marthan—a medieval world in a distant galaxy, a world of two opposing hemispheres. Divided by Good and Evil.
King Phiden's manic quest for dominion has resurfaced with rumors of a mighty demon brought back from the dead to lead the vanguard to global domination.
When an agent goes missing in Solsh, Talhah ibn Ubaydullah, a superlative assassin, is tasked with the mission to find out what he can and sack King Phiden's quest before it brings death and destruction to the south.

It is the perfect end-of-days fantasy that also falls under the Sci fi realm.
It is well written, well narrated and a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience that really gets into its characters in great depth.
The central character of Zul, an assassin who goes to avenge the wrongs done to him, is reminiscent of King Arthur type of fantasy but its set in the future, hence there is an emphasis on how much can be referenced from the past ie not much.
The fact that people have horns on their face also shows a creative streak to Mr Sarlow which is commendable.
If you are looking for pure entertainment and you don't want your story to corroborate historical facts, then you will not go wrong by downloading this audiobook.
The narrator is very competent and has a good voice.
I'm waiting for part 2 now
A thoroughly enjoyable fantasy offering
