I downloaded this book thinking I was getting a same-y crime fiction mystery. I was WRONG. I got so much more. The story was great, although it was slightly let down by the last chapter but I can overlook that as I just don’t know how you can end this type of storyline in a satisfying and neat way. The performance was also great - the consistency of the characters was brilliant. I will be listening to this again for sure!

A bit slow to start and was confused over the accents of husband and son. Realised later that the husband was Welsh, the son Liverpool. Story just got better and better as book went on. The last couple of hours were exciting, kept me guessing right up until the end. Probably best audiobook I've listened to this year, and I listen to about 3 a week. Loved it!!
