I felt like it could have used another few hours to flesh out characters, and the world. Still interesting enough that I'll give the second a shot when it released.

I would have given this book 5 across-the-board.But I am not really interested superhero.Books, and I'm not really sure where the author was going with superheroes ranking up.
But all a very good read.And would recommend

I loved the unique ‘magic’/cultivation’ system. The MC is rational and the world building is very expansive. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
