Summary

Wildcat: a football formation in which the ball is snapped, not to the quarterback, but to another player lined up in the quarterback position.

Wild, Cat: a beautiful woman from the sky, who hooked me against the rails, and has me on the ropes. Sweet like honey, with a hint of sass burning behind her pretty brown eyes, she took over my heart without warning. I'm Quinn Bailey, quarterback for the New York Mavericks. Sports analysts predicted I'd break records and take my team all the way. But no one predicted this. And just like the other team, I never saw it coming.

Brilliant

One of my favourite books of 2018. As I expected this was a fun and oh so spicy listen too. Both Quinn and Cat are fabulous characters and I would love to read and listen to more of their life together in the future. One click now, totally worth it.

Perfect Love Story!

Whoa! I’ve never read this author before, but I’ll be getting the next book in this series for sure. This was a sweet love story performed by the perfect pair. It was so nice to read a book with a strong lead female and an always adorable male lead. I was hooked from the start and loved every minute of it!

Epic PROMISE Epic FAIL😢

After no less than 10 Max Monroe reads I can comfortably say, NO to this story. It had the potential but as a Black woman I was left feeling insulted. "Kitty Kat" really? Biracial young 24 year old woman has to stoop to that as a pet name? She goes on her 1st date with a NFL millionaire to McDonald's and a car wash, just sad. Compare to other's in series she is pitiful. You make her character simple, add needy. She could have been virtuous, saving for the one. She should been stronger, starting her own business so young why not make her wealthier....(Um Hoboken). The other women in the series are desirable, smart, a force of independence and confident. Deserves a re-write. Do BETTER!

Quinn I love a great QB romance novel

I read the books in different order, but still love them. I love how the authors manage to write so fluently together. The audiobook is amazing, the narrators did an amazing job. Can't wait for more.

Quinn and Kat!

Great story! I wish Kat would have been a little stronger initially, but her character really developed as the story went on. One of my favorite from Max Monroe.

QB and Kitten!!!

OMG, Quinn Bailey is my favorite Maverick!! Since I read all of the other books in this series, I knew how this book would end but I still found myself doubting whether Quinn and Cat could overcome all the obstacles. These two are so perfect, I couldn't get enough.

This audio was absolute magic! That accent was way more than I could handle and these two had me crying laughing while trying to drive. I loved Cat and Quinn so much. I need Denver to get his HEA!!!

sweet and adorable for most of the book

This was once of the cutest books I’ve read in sports romance. The couple, Quinn and Cat were so sweet, the banter was funny but also just heartwarming. (a little less slapstick/funny than some of the authors' other books, like the billionaire series) I had a smile on my face for most of the book. Quinn is a quarterback of the NY Mavericks and was introduced in prior books, especially the book about Wes, who is the owner of the NY Mavericks (Scoring the Billionaire). Quinn was always so sweet but this book just made me fall in love with him even more. And Cat was perfect for him. She was sweet and loyal, similar to the way he was. In general, the story was happy; while it was instalove, the authors helped to solidify the feeling of love throughout the book. There was some angst later in the book and it was especially poignant given the world today. Thank goodness for the HEA.

Ava Erickson and Jeremy York were great story tellers with perfect pacing and they infused emotion into the story. They were able to play multiple characters, both male and female, well.

Visions of the ugliness of our world!

This book started out very funny and lighthearted. The author created the most amusing characters. The Heroine was a bi-racial flight attendant, her best friend was a homosexual flight attendant. The Hero was a Leading NFL quarterback who had maintained the humbleness of his upbringing. He was the perfect boyfriend and really appreciated his fans and showed it. His younger brother was the starting quarterback of Alabama and the brothers were close. Then the ugliness of society started shattering their worlds. Denver, the Hero’s younger brother had come out as a homosexual year’s ago. Quinn, his brother, accepted and loved him unconditionally. Unfortunately, their parents were from south of the Mason Dixon line and maintained the beliefs of that region. They not only didn’t accept their younger son’s sexual orientation, they did all they could to change his ways. Really? In addition, they did not approve or except the relationship their older son was having with a Bi Racial women. The couple also had their trials with the press and the ugly side of social media. Despite all the obstacles, they were able to disregard this ugliness and let their love grow! They get their HEA but, this book is a reminder that not all people have made the decision not to judge another by the tint of their skin or by the gender they are attracted to. This book lets the listener experience this bigotry first hand and hopefully have the strength to do what is right and sensible, in the end.
