Improbable in part but fun and relaxing well read though mispronounced words at times . Overall fun though

Enjoyed the story line, a little out of the ordinary, so not predictable until the very end. Narration was good although pronunciation of some words disappointing, eg gunwales, couple of others I can't remember. I would recommend this book.

For existing fans of Rosamunde Pilcher this is typical fare, with a significant ‘bad guy’ figure that I wanted to throttle for the majority of the listening. Excellently read.

Another wonderful book by Rosamunde Pilcher. Her writing is brightening my life during lockdown. The characters are so true to life and her descriptions of scenery and surroundings excellent.

A Beautiful story, Rosemunde Pilcher was a wonderful writer. Such perception, intuition, human behaviour, wisdom and beautiful story telling. I really enjoyed this book and it was brilliantly narrated by the lovely voice of Lucy Paterson. I highly recommend Coming Home, Winter Solstice, The Shell Seekers and Under Gemini too, I've enjoyed all of Rosemunde's books I've read so far. Beautiful writing. 🌷📚
