I lived these stories when I was young and they still hold a magic now. Sarah was a good narrator. I believed her as Daine and she did differentiate between the other characters well. will be buying the second..

This is a lovely, feel good fantasy about magic and ‘found family’ filled with likeable characters without being sickly sweet.

I adored this story. It was sweet and heartwarming, but didn't lack for action and adventure either. Hearing/Watching as Daine grew up across the pages, growing into her magic and discovering her new family after all she had lost... 100% I am going to be reading the rest of these stories!
